I guess Hoshi didn't get a bath last month. He seriously needed both and I just gave him a bath and trim this morning. I shaved him down completely--even his tuft. His ears were filthy (just the outside). They were black! Well it took a good 2 maybe 3 hours. I tried not to leave patches of uncut hair on him. He looks and smells better now.
Broken glass has always been a problem in my neighborhood. It's even in the playgrounds. Walking Hoshi in my neighborhood is like walking through a minefield. Today was the last straw. Hoshi walked right into a pile of broken glass (a beer bottle) during our walk. I got my leaf blower and got on my bike and went through the neighborhood clearing glass off the sidewalks. That fungal infection on his back went away then came back because I think it's in his skirt too. Anyways, I decided too keep some length so I found an old clipper with grooming attachments. I was pleased how the legs came out. Fairly even. I did have some trouble with his front legs because of mats. The attachment would get stuck. I'm going to order some grooming attachments for ...
