In the summer of 1999, I decided that I wanted to get into showing Cockers. I had Quigley already, but he was neutered, and I knew he wasn't show quality (showing was never his thing anyhow). So I asked my landlords at the time if I could get a second dog. They were ...

Grace came into my life shortly after I placed the only puppy ever born in my home, Billy. Her breeder is also Farley's breeder, who is a close friend of mine. Valerie decided to breed her female Jolie to a buff dog in the US that I admire greatly, so I asked if I could purchase ...

  5. Pogo

We were blessed with Pogo when he was just 6 months old. I was working at the time at Rite Aid Pharmacy. I had told a co-worker that if she ever saw an add for a free cocker spaniel to let me know. That cockers are high maintenance dogs and should never be given away. She found one and brought it to me. I called the add right from the pharmacy. I talked to a very nice young man who said that they had rescued this pup from a person who had him tied in his backyard. The dog just howled all day and ...
