After the shot last night it was a 10+ and took a whole Darvocet. Today it... Well before my shot in the knee yesterday my pain on 1-10 scale was a 9. After the shot last night it was a 10+ and took a whole Darvocet. Today it dropped down to an 8 (except right now tonight it's gone back up to a 9) and still had to take a half a Darvocet this afternoon at work. Needless to say I'll take another half before bed. I'm waiting what I think is patiently for this shot to work but I'm not sure how much longer that will be. Today I know I was compensating as my right hip started bothering me too. Hubby suggested getting a hoveround haha. I told him only if insurance paid for it which'll never happen. We'll see if my pain keeps going down, stays the same, or increases. Today is grooming day and Mer had to have a complete trim/groom. I take them in cycles usually only doing one dog a week for a full groomy. The rest just get touch-ups and brush outs. Merlin's been with me for about a year and a half now and we're making progress but good grief DOG! TWO HOURS on the table and I didn't trim the toenails nor brush his teeth. We hadda break after an hour and I let him run trying to spend some of that energy but NOT! He comes back in, has more Melatonin, and continues to bounce on the table! After the latest "go spend that energy run" Myles is hiding in his cubby and watching me closely, Monte's solidly behind "his" recliner, Mozart...verrry comfy on the couch cause he knows he's not due! Cesar had a great time with his new friends and all doggies got birthday cake. Cesar got to blow out his candle too. Here are some pics from this great day.

Their trials were two each day and she earned three legs with all scores in the 190's/200 (190.5, 194.0, 191.5) and placed in all three legs (2nd, 4th & 4th). There were 17 dogs the first day and 12 the second day. I am so very proud of MiMi especially because she has never been to the training class that teaches those behaviors. It is quite an accomplishment to earn a title in one week-end, but SHE DID IT!! She is such a sweet little thing and is a good worker as well.

The best surprise I had was that my daughter and my granddaughter came for the second trial on Sunday and MiMi wasn't distracted by them being there. My family has not been able to watch any of my dogs at the shows because they would be wanting (and probably would jump the gate) to see their family. My daughter and family have been able to come when MiMi is showing, but I'm not sure what Suzie would do!

MiMi is now... Tailormade Angel Bee Mine CGC TDI RN ASCA-CD AKC-CD (one leg). She was two in January and has been living with us since she was one. I am very proud of this little black cocker. They a got their nails trimmed and AJ the one who'll look like a cocker and is a black sable got his first haircut. Looks just like Asha at this age. He SCREAMED! poor baby. By the time I was getting done tho he was just trying to cuddle and hide in the crook of my elbow. He got his name out of Asha Jr hence AJ. Rich came up with it and the other boy's name, Skipper. The three girls are Dora, one of the fawn ones that the most exploratory and outgoing, pumpkin the other fawn girl and Pudge the runt black girl.
