I'm excited!

I sent an e-mail to the breeder I found hoping for an update on the female they planned to breed. She e-mailed me back that today and tomorrow are the days for her breeding! So, if everything goes well, she should have her pups around the end of August! And that would give me a pup at the time of year I wanted to get one!

Well.....is it puppy-time yet?

She didn't take, so no puppy. I'm not having much luck finding one in this area.

I'm sorry. I cant imagine how disappointed you must be.

This is the 2nd time. Talked to hubby tonight. Our son moved to Florida. There are 2 breeders very close to him. I'm seriously thinking of contacting them and seeing if either is going to have puppies available in mid-January. Then we could fly down on a Friday night, then spend Saturday morning w/him B4 picking up a puppy and flying home. I'd still be able to care for my other animals w/no problem doing it that way. Someone feeds my horses for me on Saturday morning. And even if it's dark by the time we got home, I'd still be able to feed in the dark if I have to.
