Manuel, I love your article, except that I do believe that a rescue, who's first family we may know nothing about, can bond with it's rescue family. All it takes is love and time.

Nice article. Having adopted three dogs (one from the Humane Society and two from a wonderful rescue we all know and love), I know for a fact that each of them developed a strong bond after being adopted. They have even developed protective feelings for our little family and the house and yard.
