Yesterday was the first Tuesday of January. Michael and I gave the crew their first bath of 2010!
I've got cornbread in the oven! My first step towards tomorrows dinner. I plan on doing a little experimenting with Michael's colored pencils today. Never used them.. but want to see what I can do..we'll see..
Today is Monday, and I had the whole weekend off! It's been great so far, I really haven't done a thing. We put up our Christmas tree and lights and I cleaned a little and baked a ham. We are having lentels today. I did some painting and reading and plan to do more of both!
This last Thursday Michael and I attened our first dog show. It was about 2 hours from home in Pomona CA. I only got to see one show because Michael wasn't feeling very well when we got there. We really enjoyed the show that we saw. A beautiful black parti won that show over a buff and a black. Then we went to the grooming area and met Marie Santos. We enjoyed meeting Marie and seeing all her wonderful dogs. We got to see the some of the red parti litter, littermates to the new Zim dog.
It's a beautiful time of year. The weather is just wonderful. My crew love the out of doors this time of year. All the birds are out in full force. And, best of all, it's just a little too early for the mosquitoes!
This month it will be 6 months that we have had the wonderful Stormy. He is a very special boy. We adore him more and more..
