Recent cocker event in Hamden, CT?

Can anyone tell me about a recent cocker show probably a couple months ago?

EDIT: I think it was the East Coast Cocker Classic

I see you (Manuel) posted a link to a story about some goings on there. I can't find any confirming reports, though.

What I will add as comments to the story -

No charges seem to have been filed re: dogs at the show "left unattended in a warehouse". Often shows are held at facilities like fairgrounds where the competition rings may be located in one building and crating/grooming is, literally, next door.

The suspected complainant was not in attendace. Could this complaint be a case of axe-grinding and harassment because the complainer has been shunned by the show/breeding community for cause?

The lack of details and facts reported makes me very suspicious of who is truly at fault in this incident. This event was held two weeks ago, plenty of time for charges to become public record and thorough news coverage. If the exhibitors were charged with neglect/cruelty, the press would be all over it like flies on a pile of....well you know what.

I live in Hamden. They have this event annually, but I have only been there once, several years ago. However, I have heard nothing about any problem.

Trust me when I say that the person who made the complaint was being petty. She wasn't at the show, and was simply acting in her dislike for people in attendance at the show. This individual has stooped extremely low in the past, so this behaviour was no real surprise.

I guess I'm glad. I'd much rather it be more petty human garbage; as long as the dogs are okay!

I was wondering if she wasn't at the show, how did she know people were talking about her there? Plus she's a breeder, the East Coast Cocker Classic is held in her town, and she doesn't attend? Although we all know that things can come up to prevent attendance but to me three things: non attendance, the people are talking about me, and the police report make me suspicious of her motives.

Wait a sec..... The arrest statement says that she also contacted animal control. Just exactly what did she hope to achieve by doing that????? Have the dogs confiscated?

This women lives just 7 miles from me. We were told in the past that she can be "difficult"
