Is it safe yet?

Apollo got neutered on Monday (a week tomorrow). Is it safe to give him a bath yet? The papers didn't say anything bout when I could give him a bath. He needs a bath, he's not nasty yet but he is getting that dirty boy smell. :p So I was just wondering if its safe yet.

I would at least wait til tomorrow and then only if it's scabbed over with no swelling, redness, oozing, or open wound there.

It's scabbed over and showing no signs of irritation. I'm just worried bout the scab softening and reopening the wound. Or that even possible?

Just don't scrub it and it should be fine.

When in doubt, ask your vet. I would think it would be okay though.

Manuel, I've got to take moon into the vet tomorrow so I will ask while I'm there

If the vet says no, you can ask about a waterless bath to "freshen him up." There was a mousse type that I liked very much, before I got a proper hand-held shower.
