Another quick bath
I have to say these quick baths aren’t 100% successfull. I had to give Hoshi a complete bath last week because they were on various parts of his body. Tonight I noticed flea dirt around his scrotum. I placed him in his tub and throughly cleaned the area with a warm soapy washcloth. I removed at least 2 fleas in the process because they were on the washcloth. It took 22 minutes to wash and dry the area. Hoshi can get another application of Frontline Plus in 4 days.
Difficulty sleeping is a clue there might be fleas. Hoshi kept scratching his bed last night trying to get comfortable. The flea dirt is a dead giveaway.
Another quick bath for fleas
It’s been almost a month since I found any fleas on Hoshi. I think the vinegar solution helps keep fleas away. I found flea dirt around Hoshi’s scrotum this morning, throughly washed area with warm soapy water removing 2 large fleas in the process. It only took 15 minutes to wash and towel dry. These quick baths get rid of the fleas.
Flea repellant recipe:

New vitamins for Hoshi
Petsmart stopped carrying the GNC brand products. I’m disappointed because Hoshi loved the soft chew probiotics. Honestly they smelled awful 😁. Plus, I trusted the GNC brand. The Authority brand is similar but lesser quality. I’m trying the Only Natural Pet brand because the soft chews are softer and don’t get hard as quickly as the Authority brand.
The Only Natural Pet vitamins contain glucosamine and chondroitin. That might be a problem if you’re already using that joint supplement. They also contain lactobaccillus acidophilus and saccharomyces boulardii probiotics. Again, this could be a problem if you’re already providing these probiotics.
