Cleaning ears

Hey, I took my pup to the vet today and turns out she has ear mites I was shocked because she hasnt been outside yet from I have got her but the vet didn't give me much information only how to apply the drops for her ears, am I supposed to clean them or will it be sore for her?

I wouldn't worry about cleaning them right now. It might interfere with her ear medication.

I would call the vet and ask for a tech to demonstrate. It's pretty easy.. usually vets demonstrate!. You probably can find a video online for how to apply ear drops . The vet has me clean her ears before putting med in, but ask your vet if you should continue with cleaning. (I imagine s/he will say yes)
