Darts/Ears and snoods

Hi everyone, only just registered! I have a nearly 6 year old cocker spaniel, Poppy and unfortunately she had to have a dart removed from her ear today under anaesthetic. Fortunately the first time this has happened. Does anyone use a snood for this reason and if so, any recommendations please? Thank you

How did she end up with a dart in her ear?

Probably from a walk over the park. Had no idea it was in her ear.

Wow poor baby, was it in her ear leather or just in her ear feathering? My boy wears a snood to eat, and, I don't keep his ear feathers as long as
some dogs.

It was quite deep in her ear. We have purchased a snood for walking, which isn’t ideal when it’s hot, but needs must.
