Hi everyone,

Apologies if this is in the wrong place!

I'm Lynette - I live in Christchurch, New Zealand with my hubby, our labradoodle rosie, Ragdoll cat Frodo - and as of Sunday, our cocker spaniel Hamish! Hamish is from Rotorua NZ, with his sire living in Scotland - he is the result of a huge amount of planning and financial input. Hopeful to show him and do well. Hamish is 9 weeks old (as of 21/8/17) and a blue roan beauty

Hubby and I are originally from Northern Ireland.

Welcome to MCS! Hamish is a beautiful baby, and Rosie is also.

Your dogs are beautiful! Congratulations on your new puppy Hamish and thanks for the pictures.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments! We're going well, and he's starting to be a bit more affectionate at times - when he's not being a dog ping pong ball! We're twelve weeks old and fully vaccinated at 5.7kg.

We adore him, and he is spoilt.

Big sis Rosie is doing well teaching Hamish how our house works. She can be over zealous at times but most of the time they exist in harmony IMG_1798.JPG IMG_1789.JPG IMG_1761.JPG

That's a pretty park! They were having a good time.
When we got a dog here in Christchurch, it blew my mind that there was one dog park... theres actually 7 - one huge one which has (I think) 10 sectioned areas, fully fenced and gated - a designated small dog area, two fenced river areas and two agility spots. most of the other dog parks have fenced dog areas and you can take them to any beach you like :). You cant bring dogs into national parks though because of the birds
