Peeka's buddy, Mama cat, went to the vet today on a one way ticket. Mama cat was my husband's cat. It was one of those things, she was on her way out and it was the humane thing to do. We're missing her and Peeka is too. Peeka is our one and only furrie now.....until we're ready for another of course.....

Thanks everyone, for your kind words. We're doing well, all considered! It was for the best, the vet even commented on that. Peeka seems to be looking for her. My husband misses her too. She was his cat for years. mama didnt really adopt me. We basically tolerated each other. I was good enough to give her a scratch, if the hubby wasn't near by. She was a great kitty. All three of us miss her, but she's much better off! It's stange to tell complete strangers something like this, but it helps!
