Well, I finally got through.. I am Peggy & I have a sweet little red & white parti boy Bubby. He is 12 1/2 but a puppy at heart.. Has medical issues - One eye lost to glaucoma and glaucoma in the other as well as CDS (puppy alzheimers) BUT he does well on meds. He is my heart dog... Know a couple of you already and hope to make new friends. Currently visiting kids and grandkids in FL. (sorry 80 degrees here right now) BUT will return Sunday to wintery Pgh in time for the Steeler game!!!! and to have Christmas with DH family there.. tty all later... Peggy & Bubby
 
Welcome peggy. Looking forward to seeing Bubby. I have a senior cocker too (14yrs). Gabby may have slowed down but still enjoys playing and causing mischief. I've never heard of CDS before but am glad to hear there's medication for it. Enjoy those 80F days in Florida while you can. The snow isn't going anywhere and will be here to greet you when you come back home.

Have to learn how to post pics!!!!! Bubby is fine. CDS - Cognative Dysfunction Syndrome... I initially thought he had a stroke. He walked in circles, totally disoriented, etc. Vet suggested Anapryl (seligilline HCl) for him. He takes 10 mg a day in the AM and hes back to his grumpy old man self. It makes it more difficult that hes blind. Glad to hear all is well with everyone. Lee (DH) just text me said Pgh is getting a big snow storm... Have to check the weather channel. Supposed to fly out tomorrow. Glad to be here with all my old friends and new ones too. Peggy & Bubby

I'm glad your vet was able to diagnose Bubby's problem. Walking in circles would have definitely worried me!

Manuel... I will check it out once I get home... Hate leaving the beautiful Fla sunshine but miss my sweet litle Bubby. Lee (DH) say we are to get 4" of snow tomorrow. Whata rude jolt back to reality. Will have to get Bubby's parka out for him. Dreading the flight back, as I am not much of a flyer. tty all later when I get back up North... Peggy & Bubby

Thanks Anita, I know if I put my mind to it, I will figure it out... Leave at 12:30 to head to the "frozen" North... Just am not crazy about flying...BUT can't wait to see my Bubby and, of course, Lee... Peggy & Bubby
