Hi! My name is Matt and a proud new owner of my first cocker spaniel puppy. Obie was originally born in Columbia and as expected is a ball of energy!

He was crate trained for six months by his previous owner and he knows a few commands but still learning.

We also have a six year old cocker spaniel and they seem get along okay but sometimes the puppy just has a little too much energy for the older guy.

Any advice and tips would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Welcome Matt. Your cockers are both very handsome. When we brought a puppy home to our older cocker spaniels we made sure to give our puppy extra exercise. One toy that helped us was one something like this:

Squishy Face Studio Flirt Pole V2 with Fleece Lure Dog Toy

We could tire out the puppy without totally exhausting our other dog or us!
