Ginger was adopted while we were living in California in 2004 when she was 6 years old. We adopted her from a family who did not have time for her any more and after keeping her outside for a couple of years, they decided to give her up. We adopted her in October of 2004 and then in January of 2005 we decided to move back to South Carolina. Ginger, who had only been in a car with us one time, was perfect the whole cross country trip. She slept most of the way and was never anxious or car sick. She is just a wonderful dog. She loves greet everyone that comes near her. She has never barked or growled at anyone. She likes to take bones and hide them all over our house, under the bed, behind the couch and chair, almost anywhere possible that she can think of. If you go near where she has hidden a bone, she runs to it to get it first and hides it in a different place. Ginger has been a joy to spend these past 2 years with and is a wonderful companion.

this is Abby she is a three month old party cocker spaniel. she is also a female she lives in Malvern, Iowa  

This is my girl Shelby. Shelby came into my life 4 years ago when I was helping to transport her into rescue. When I went to the vet clinic to pick her up she came out into the waiting area the first thing she did was sit down in front of me and started pawing at me to pet her. It was love at first sight or should I say paw!!! When she came to live with me and her 2 other Cocker brothers she was heart worm positive and the doctors were not sure if she would make it. But as you can see she is a fighter. She is a quiet girl who doesn't give kisses but she is like a shadow and has to be where ever I am. Her favorite thing to do is to come get in the bed with me after she has been out in the mornings. I don't know what her past was like but I do know that she is treated like the Princess that she deserves to be. 

My dog Murphy was rescued by critter care in 2005 then my family came a rescued him now Murphy is in my house safe & sound.

This is Lady and she is the best thing that happened in our lives. We got her from a pet store at 4 mos old, and she had so many behavior problems from living in a 3X3 cage. She always had the sweetest heart and disposition and is so smart. I suffer from severe anxiety and she has been the best therapy, always by our sides. We love her very much as does anyone who meets her! Lady is 2yrs old and an American Cocker Spaniel from Massachusetts.

She had puppies in April and is the best Mom as you can see! 

Leonardo has been with us for 1 month now. This is our families 1st pet. Leonardo has 2 human sisters and a brother. Leo is learning very quickly, and is the Love of my 8 year old daughters life. 

My Lola is very sweet and affectionate. She is playful and rambunctious. She is also sensitive, so she tries to please us as often as she can. We are in the process of paper training her and she does well with it when we are home, because we make a big deal when she does a good job, giving her treats and kisses and clapping. When we are at work she tends to get nervous, however, she does not destroy anything in our apartment but rather, she misses the paper. We love her and she offers more than the work she requires. 

Spunky was living on the streets with a homeless man who agreed to live in a shelter. However he could not take Spunky so we agreed to foster him. While he owner loves him he decided we could keep him and I can't believe how much I adore Spunky. He is the calmest, sweetest dog I ever met and very polite when meeting people. He likes to take his time. Spunky did not really like to be petted or snuggle when we got him, but now he is always backing into me for his back rubs. He also gives me at least five minutes of snuggle time every day. And he is never far from me. He even works with me. Spunky looks good in his photo, but he likes to hike and play in water every day so the clean look is rare! I love his punk hair style too!
