My Honey came to me three weeks following the death of my "other" Honey who was 15+ years old. I was devastated, so Honey's arrival was a blessing. She's AKC registered (my first registered Cocker), so I named her "Honey of the New Moon" when I registered her. She's the joy of my life. This is my third Cocker Spaniel...my third "Honey."

I write and illustrate children's picture books. My first book is entitled Me, the Tree (www.methetree.com) . My second book, which will be out by Jan 2008, features Honey as the "star." It's called Just Be You.

Bailey came to us from a breeder in Mississippi when he was 8 weeks old. He was in a litter of 7 puppies. His nickname is "Curious George" because he gets into EVERYTHING! He loves to eat sticks and leaves and loves his toy monkey. He knows how to sit, lay down and drop it on command and pays very good attention when you call his name (especially when there are treats involved.)
