Facebook Group: My Cocker Spaniel

I decided to give the Groups app a try after hearing about on the news. I’m not much of a Facebook user but I like the sound of a “mini Facebook” just for cocker users.  I’m going to let our other administrators help me out since they’re more Facebook savvy than me.  We’ll see how it goes.  Our forum on mycockerspaniel.com will remain.  I plan on updating the forum with new software after New Years.

MyCockerSpaniel.com gets facelift and blog

I’ve put this off for years but I’m finally updating MyCockerSpaniel.com so it look better to visitors. I’m in the process right now of updating the appearance of the site’s pages. I’ve also added a blog which you are reading at this moment. First, I’m updating the site’s pages with software I’m unaccustomed to. Adobe’s Dreamweaver CS5 is being used and it’s been a frustrating start for someone used to Microsoft’s Frontpage. The pages are being redone with a template and custom style. Second, I’ve added a blog to add updated information using software called WordPress. It took some doing but I managed to stylize the blog to fit the rest of the site’s style. In the meantime, I’ll keep updating pages on this site.

MyCockerSpaniel.com moves up on Google

If you’re an owner of a Web site like me you probably check Google often to see how your site is doing. I frequently go to Google and search “cocker spaniel.” MyCockerSpaniel.com has been on page 2 for the longest. Tonight, I noticed MyCockerSpaniel made #9 on the first page. It will probably go up and down on Google before the night is through. That’s okay. Thanks for being here. MyCockerSpaniel wouldn’t be popular without you.
