As owner of a Disney travel agency, and one of the top 400 in North America, we were invited to the Disney EarMarked Owners Summit. Since I disabled I need to bring Tasha 2.0 my service dog along with Gary, my partner and care taker. Disney welcomed them both.
We began our trip by taking a sedan transfer from our home to Boston Logan airport, we were flying on Delta and were welcomed at the curb by Disney agents who helped check our luggage and escort us through TSA and to our gate. At 6am TSA was by no means busy and being disabled we were pre-check so it took us less than 15 minutes.
Here is Tasha sitting in Delta's Sky Club for our flight to Orlando. Did I mention we flew First Class
Upon arrival at Orlando our driver met us and collected our luggage where we were whisked to the Contemporary Resort in a stretched limo:
She enjoy the limo ride
She was a big hit at the hotel and the Summit, our first day was busy, registration, meeting Disney officials including the General Manager of the resort, and finally checking into our room. We were surprised when the GM came out again and escorted us up to a suite. He upgraded Tasha and we got to stay with her the whole 5-night
Check in at registration at the Contemporary Resort, home hotel for the Summit
Our 6-days went by quickly, mostly work, but Gary & Tasha got to enjoyed all that Disney offered, including meals, fireworks, character meetings, and so many Disney Presidents and other management along with 400+ agency owners. She was the perfect service dog, everyone couldn't stop saying this is what a service dog should act like.
Tasha met every Princess at Cinderella's Table, Met just about every character as Chef's Mickeys and didn't want to return home. After we got home Tasha wold not sleep on my bed, seems she loved the luxury mattress in our suite. So, I bought a new bed, the same bed Tom Brady sleeps on, but we upped the bells and whistles. She loves the massage options LOL For $6,000.00 she better love her bed.
