Ok, so don't laugh at me... I bought a pair of clippers to trim Lilly's fur since it has gotten a lot warmer here in chicago. I want her to have a short coat for the summer since she's so active and gets too warm very easily. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start? - like back or legs first?

Thanks guys!

I do the face and ears last because all the loose hair makes their head shake and they get less cooperative.

Not sure it matters a great deal where you start - especially for a pet trim. I do Ellie's feet (bottoms) first and then her face and ears as she hates those the most. :p

The head and ears makes the biggest overall visual difference. Sometimes, I just do ears, head and the underside of feet. Your pup will look so much sharper. It doesn't have to be done all at once, you know :p
