Snow in Southern California!

Hi All!
My boss called me before 8am this morning saying that it's snowing really hard. So I don't have to go into work today! I live way up high in the mountains and they were afraid for me to drive at night up and down our winding road. So, I get to stay home. There is over 3 inches on the ground. That is a lot for the desert community!
 
Please be safe and I hope your snow melts soon. We had about 3-4 inches last night. I hate shoveling the driveway! :p I shoveled Gabby a poop path too.

Snow is on the ground across the street.. Not as many trees on that side. The mountains up here are covered. Michael saw snow plows driving up and down the street. We are still trying to decide if I will
go into work today. I'm not sure yet. Wow this is the first in my 60 years! :p
 
Well,
I just got word, I am not going into work today. Our other Assistant Manager will cover my shift. All the roads up here are closed.

I will get some pictures today so everyone can see the Snow in So CA!:)

I'm surprised they have snow plows where you live. They must have had them mothballed in some warehouse in case of emergencies. Thanks for sharing your pics of that once in a lifetime event. I work last night and work tonight too. We're getting another 6-10 inches in the morning. I gassed up my snow blower and it's ready to go.
 
LOL Manuel.. they are big tractors with push shovels on the front.. they have to use them for rain run off.. so they just used them for the snow also.. this is a two lane road one going in each direction but it can be busy so they keep it clean.. but it's been closed for 2 days.
