Grooming Stone?

DH mentioned this to me the other night. He heard about it from someone he works with that has a terrier.
I Googled it and it looks like a pumice stone.

Has anyone ever heard of these? Used one? Robin - what's your take on this?

For a lot of groomers, the stone is easier to use than a stripping knife. A stone has less chance of breaking or cutting the coat, which can ruin the texture and make the hair strand stand up rather than lie flat.

I use a stone on my boys then finish the detail work with my stripping knives.
