I'm so sorry, I hope they get the answer soon. Our old cocker, Lacey, had staph infections on her skin most of her life. The only thing that worked was a month of Cephalexin, then she would be good again for a while. Once staph gets ahold many things can trigger it. Good luck to her, I hope she gets better soon.

Gabapentin is one of the newer drugs they are trying for seizures in dogs, it is used for this in people too.
