Lump concern

Hi,
I am new to this forum, and I am not sure whether I should be asking this question. My son and his partner have a Cocker spaniel. She is seven and a half. She has never had pups, or been spayed. They have noticed a small lump on one of her rear teats. She is very good health apart from this.
