Purina dogfood recall

Purina is recalling some of their soft foods including Beneful and Pro Plan. They claim the food is not tainted but does not meet dietary requirements. See my blog post for more details or visit Purina's site.

Thanks for the update. Did you know that Purina bought out Merrick? I currently feed Merrick adult raw infused and will now be migrating to a new chow as soon as I do some research.

I don't use Merrick but heard it was good. That's too bad. I wouldn't trust Purina with it either.

I was sad to learn that Purina bought Merrick.

I know that they will promise to keep the formula the same but now, at least as I see it, the company's top goal will no longer be to make great dog food.....it will be to make profits for shareholders.

Mia came to me with a bag of Purnia Dog Chow - Yuk! I threw it away and started feeding her what I feed Teddy. Horrible ingredients! Going to be making the puppy stew soon and start them both on that.
