I'm with everyone else. I have never withheld water. Tethering him to you is a great idea.

If Mack is sneaking off to pee, then you need him tethered to you. Otherwise he won't learn that peeing in ALL areas of the house is wrong.

Just don't be quik to blame the groomer in the eye. Could have been also caused by stress, him rubbing or bumping his eye on something, or teething. Glad it went down but since it popped up once, don't be surprised if it ever happens again.

Tethering worked like a charm for me when I rehomed Ms. DeeDee Rose. Plus, old Leroy was a big help in the house-breaking routine.
