3 cockers
Hi everyone - I'm a new member here, invited by Polly :) Thanks Polly! I see a few names that I recognize from various forums.

My name is Kelly, and I live in Northern Alberta, Canada. I am owned by 3 American Cockers that are involved in showing, obedience, rally obedience and therapy work. I have litters from time to time (very rarely), but am very involved in training and showing Cockers. I am also a big supporter of rescue and have been involved in quite a few raffles and auctions, as well as helping Life's Little Paws getting their new auction site set up.

My 3 Cockers are all buff. My oldest is Farley, who is 9 years old and retired from everything except being my demo dog at obedience classes. He has a Canadian championship as well as obedience titles in Canada and the US. He is my heart dog, and most people that have met us know that :) He has bad knees and a bad back, so was never used for breeding, but I don't care. I love him with all my heart.

Grace is 2.5 years old, and a dog show dropout. She did earn 3 points in the ring, but she just hates showing, so we're doing agility training now. I am planning a summer breeding with her, depending on how life is going for me at the time. She is a BAD, BAD, BAD girl! She loves to chew, and gets into everything.

Jack Jack is 9 months old and my new show dog. He has 3 points already from his first trip into the show ring, and we're hoping that he gets plenty more this year. He is also being trained for obedience, and he's showing off his brains. He knows a large repertoire of tricks and is learning obedience very nicely. He's a good dog, and he's following in Farley's footsteps as a heart dog in training.

Thanks for letting me ramble!

Welcome Kelly, Farley, Grace, and Jack Jack! I love buff cockers. We're glad to have another Canadian member aboard. Wishing Jack Jack good luck in the ring this year. Show us some pics when you get a chance. :)

Welcome, Kelly, to the new place.

You already know me as we met at the Nationals in Indianapolis many years ago. It was such a pleasure to meet you and Farley at that time.

Grace and Jack Jack are lucky little ones to be in the company of both you and Farley. Love the pictures you posted.:)

Oh Kelly! I'm so glad you joined!!! Welcome! Linny will be so surprised when she finally posts!

Yes everyone, I have to say that Kelly's buffs are the most beautiful I have ever seen. She is a very gracious and loving lady. She will be a big asset to our little community here. And she is an avid photo bug! We will all enjoy her pictures.

Hey Kelly!!!!

Love seeing pics of the Buff 3 -- and wanted to tell everyone that YES INDEED, you are a lovely lady and spectacular cocker mom.

I've met Kelly in person. Last year at Spaniel Nationals. We had a blast, and Kelly has been a wonderful friend to our rescue too. She has done raffle pages for us - coordinated all sorts of things and donated beautiful items too.

But most of all, she's one of the "GOOD" breeders and cares. Plus it was fun to go out to dinner with her and Jackie.

Going to attempt to pop a picture of Kelly and a few of us while she was here visiting last year.

If you click on the picture, it gets larger. That's kelly in the purple, standing with her arm on my shoulder.

EDIT: Manuel: Thanks for sharing. It looked like a nice get together :)

Linny!
Great pix! It's great to see you and Gery, and Kelly standing behind you, and Mare, but, who are the rest?

To my right in the picture is Jackie - she is Jack Jack's breeder and one of my best friends. Beside her is Mary Ellen Dunn, owner of the only puppy that I've ever bred (Billy). I consider her a dear friend also, and I wouldn't know her if it wasn't for Linny.

Thank you for the kind words Linda . . . I appreciate compliments from you, because I know you really KNOW what to look for in a person. As for being a good breeder . . . I want to be the kind of breeder that people are on waiting lists to get puppies from, because the dogs are THAT wonderful. I believe in balanced, happy, healthy dogs . . . not kennel dogs or dogs that are just show pieces.

Thank you EVERYONE for the warm welcome!!!!!

I never met Kelly in person but I can tell everything I have read
I know she is just like Linda is saying.

Hi Kelly and welcome!!
