- 3 cockers
Hi everyone - I'm a new member here, invited by Polly Thanks Polly! I see a few names that I recognize from various forums.
My name is Kelly, and I live in Northern Alberta, Canada. I am owned by 3 American Cockers that are involved in showing, obedience, rally obedience and therapy work. I have litters from time to time (very rarely), but am very involved in training and showing Cockers. I am also a big supporter of rescue and have been involved in quite a few raffles and auctions, as well as helping Life's Little Paws getting their new auction site set up.
My 3 Cockers are all buff. My oldest is Farley, who is 9 years old and retired from everything except being my demo dog at obedience classes. He has a Canadian championship as well as obedience titles in Canada and the US. He is my heart dog, and most people that have met us know that He has bad knees and a bad back, so was never used for breeding, but I don't care. I love him with all my heart.
Grace is 2.5 years old, and a dog show dropout. She did earn 3 points in the ring, but she just hates showing, so we're doing agility training now. I am planning a summer breeding with her, depending on how life is going for me at the time. She is a BAD, BAD, BAD girl! She loves to chew, and gets into everything.
Jack Jack is 9 months old and my new show dog. He has 3 points already from his first trip into the show ring, and we're hoping that he gets plenty more this year. He is also being trained for obedience, and he's showing off his brains. He knows a large repertoire of tricks and is learning obedience very nicely. He's a good dog, and he's following in Farley's footsteps as a heart dog in training.
Thanks for letting me ramble!
