Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum.
I got Samson, my Cocker Spaniel, from a rescue here in Northern Kentucky. I had been looking for a new dog after my almost 16 year old Boston Terrier passed away. I hadn't been looking at Cocker Spaniels but saw his picture on the rescue website and something in his eyes told me I just had to have him. I was told that he was 5 years old and his family had recently gone homeless and they were forced to give him up. That makes me so sad to think that he couldn't stay with his family but he's been a welcome addition to ours. He is six years old now and is a gorgeous, smart, funny, furry baby.
He has a 14.5 year old Dachshund sister that he couldn't care less about.
